2009 Edition Information

Here is the latest information regarding the new 2009 edition.

Announcement Video from Steve Demme

*If you have trouble viewing the video click here to download or view a different format.

*The older books will work with the newer ones with the exception of Algebra 1 which is off by one lesson.

The 2009 Algebra 1 student kit has 35 lessons and corresponds to the 35 lessons in this solutions book. If you have an Algebra 1 teacher manual or student text published before 2009, you may have 34 lessons instead of 35 lessons.
In early 2008, lesson 7 was expanded into two lessons labeled 7A and 7B, and the last lesson was 34. Later in 2008, 7A and 7B were changed to 7 and 8, and all the lessons were renumbered to make 35. (All of these 2008 printings have a 2004 copyright date.)
If your teacher manual does not have the expanded lessons, you can find them
under Downloads at MathuUSee.com. If your Algebra 1 DVD has only 34 lessons, you
can view the new instruction for 7 and 8 (or 7A and 7B) online at www.mathusee.

Here is the transcript of the video for people having trouble viewing the video and for our Math-U-See customers who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Well, you know that in December we made our first video announcement of the new materials that were coming out. I wanted to give you plenty of time to plan your curriculum purchases for the next year. Now we have talked to the printers. We’re pretty sure that we’re going to be able to release all of these books in the beginning of April. We’re hoping to have the books in the reps’ hands by the beginning of April, and then you can order from them and expect them by the second week. I hope this gives you plenty of time. Now for those of you that are going to fairs, you will find some of the new materials there as it’s being released, and maybe I’ll get to see you at some of those fairs. But for right now, this is our plan.

Now, why did we do this? In case you haven’t seen the first video clip, we did this because after years of receiving feedback and good ideas from you, we decided to make the leap and improve the binding while we were at it. We thought, Well, let’s improve the look of the book, and let’s improve the grammar of the book. So we hired professional editors, and they’ve gone through all the books and cleaned them up. We’ve also hired graphic arts designers. So inside the book now you’ll notice a much more professional, cleaner look, which will make it easier to teach math, and that’s our ultimate goal.

Now, I’m going to show you the books, and then we’re going to go through some of the other improvements and enhancements that we have. I chose Epsilon to be our sample. We’ve done Beta through Geometry and Stewardship this year, as you can see on our list. We’re going to be doing Primer, Alpha, to the lower level books and Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus and hopefully Calculus for 2010. We do hope to have Calculus ready as of the fall of 2009, so be in touch about that.

Now the hardback books . . . this is the instruction manual. This is part of the instruction pack. You get this along with the DVD instructions. Now this is a hardback book, slick picture. Inside you’ll notice not only is it a cleaner look but we printed on both sides of the page and used heavier paper. The content is the same in all of our books except that we’ve improved the solutions. The solutions are step-by-step complete solutions for every problem. We’ve always had complete answer keys, and many of the solutions were step-by-step, but now we’ve made all of them. This is particularly helpful in the algebra, pre-algebra, geometry series, but it goes all the way down. So this is your hardback book. Isn’t that nice?

Okay, we also made changes to the student books. As you know they’ve been done in comb binding for years, and we’ve gone back and forth on the different options. After talking with customers, making some in the different options, polling our customers, we’ve decided to go with a perfect bound book. It’s also got a glossy laminate cover. The inside, as you’ll notice, is printed on both sides of the page, which gives you a lot more space to work the problems right on the problem. Before you used to have to work the problem on the opposite page, now you can work right along with the page. Now these pages are getting a little bit heavier. If you want to keep it in one book, you have that option. It sits nicely on your shelf. If you want to tear out the pages, these are also perforated with three-hole punch, so if you want to tear out a lesson at a time and give it to the student, you can keep it in a binder. You have lots of options. Even for our lefties out there you can tear out the pages and use them nicely without the binding getting in the way. Even though they’re perfect-bound books, they lie surprisingly flat. So we hope that you’ll like these.

Now, the test booklet is also the same. This was one of the reasons why we have the perforated pages. Often the parents and teachers like to give these one at a time to the student so they don’t have access to all of the tests at the beginning of the year.

So there you go! Now, we changed the design, and if you’ll look below—hopefully this will be on the blog—if you look down below, you’re going to see a new price list. You’re also going to see a sample lesson from Epsilon so you can look at it more closely.

Members of the Math-U-See community that are hearing impaired have been requesting close caption or subtitles. We opted for subtitles. These are currently on Primer through Delta, and we’ll be adding these throughout 2009. If you have a DVD that says “Copyright 2009” you have that option.

We will also be carrying the current comb-bound books until supplies run out. We probably have enough books to get us through the beginning of April and a little bit past that, so there will be a price savings for those. It’s the same content. In fact, if you have a current teacher’s manual and you buy our new student books, they work together beautifully, no problem. The only exception to that is you might want to consider getting an Algebra 1 solutions supplement because over half of Algebra 1 is now complete solutions. It’s a lot, it’s good, it’s very helpful, and that’s a book that requires a lot of care to make sure you’re getting the answers correct. But the other books synchronize perfectly.

Okay, so, with the new binding, the complete solutions, the improved design, how much is this going to cost? I know that’s why you’re watching this, to see how much this is going to cost. So here’s what we have. Currently all of these prices are going to stay the same for the comb binding, but for all of the new improvements, they’re going to go up 5 dollars. That’s the overview. So this right now, the Beta instruction book, has been 35, the instruction pack is now going to be 40. The student kit will now be 25. And this will be true for all of the Greek level books. So you’ve got 40 for the instruction, 25 for the student. I’ve already told you the pattern; I could have made this a math lesson and let you figure this out. So 40 and 25.

Now Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, as you know, they have an instruction pack as well as a student text, as well as an honors book, student and test. So we’ve had tremendous feedback on this. People have really liked the honors. Some people didn’t know whether to get it or not. As you know, the cost of producing a book—maybe you don’t know. I’m learning this. A lot of it is in the binding. So what we decided to do was combine the student book and the honors book. This one used to be 20, and the honors book was 10, and so instead of then adding 5 more dollars, we can continue to charge 30 dollars. So putting those two together in one book, the instruction manual will have the answer keys for both and you will still have a separate test booklet. The instruction manual will now be 55. It used to be 50 so it’s another 5 dollar change. This is true for all of these books. The instructions 55, 30, instructions 55, 30. Stewardship is now going to be 25 and 55. So all of the instruction packs for these levels are the same and the student kits. This will be the same as the student over here.

So there’s what you’ve been wanting to know. If you can get the comb-bound books we will have them till supplies run out. But we won’t be able to produce them later because one of the reasons we can pull this off is we have to buy large quantities these perfect-bound and hardback books to keep the cost low for you. But if we were to produce this same double-sided look in the comb binding we couldn’t afford to do it in our limited runs.

For those of you that are watching, you may be living right now in Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, U.K., Singapore, the Philippines. You’re wondering when these changes will be available to your culturally specific edition. Because as you know we’ve changed the Math-U-See U.S. edition to fit with your particular country, so we’ve changed your measurement, we’ve changed your currency, we’ve changed word problems, even word spellings so that this would be user friendly for your country. Now these changes will be available as soon as we can, as soon as we get done making all the changes in the design and the formatting for the U.S. Then we can begin to make them ready for your country. So hold on! We’ll get them as soon as we can.

Now for those of you that are still watching—I hope you are—this is one of the big reasons we’re making these video announcements several weeks before the release date because we want you to have plenty of time before you go to a fair or order online to make sure you’re ordering the correct stuff because our replacement policy will always remain the same as far as we can tell if you return the materials within 30 days in good condition, etc. It’s written down there on the order form. But we hope you’ll make the decision because we can’t exchange comb-bound editions for the new binding. It’s going to be very difficult, so make an informed decision.

Now the reason we did all this, again, is because we listened; we got great feedback from you. We want to make this program as user-friendly for you as possible. We want math to be a success in your home, and I believe these changes will help you teach math to your children.

When is the new Algebra being released?

      Thanks,
      Nancy

One of my students is working through Pre-Calculus this year. I was counting on Calculus being available for the beginning of the Sep. ‘09 school year. Since there is no ‘current’ version of Calculus published, does this mean that we will not be able to use Calculus until perhaps Jan. or Feb. of 2010?

      Hi,

I am unable to view the video. Would anyone there be able to help me view it??

      Thanks

Are the solutions for Pre-Algebra more thorough as well? I’ve done just fine with the present version, but I have two more coming up and am considering which levels I might want to change instruction materials. Also on the website there are new videos for Lesson 7 and 8 in Algebra I. (They’re much easier to understand by the way!) I’m assuming these are now included on the new DVD and in the manual, correct? Also can you give an idea of what price you expect the expanded solutions manual for those with the current Algebra I to be? The answers to those two questions would really help me make a decision whether to get a new instruction kit for Algebra I or just the Solutions Manual you mentioned would be available for current users. I love the look of the new instruction kits, but already having the materials through Algebra II and only a couple more children coming up I’m going to have be very thoughtful about which instruction kits to replace. Thanks for providing so much information about the changes!

Thanks for the great video. All the changes look wonderful and I can’t believe that the price increase is only $5! I pray this move to new look, covers and bindings is a success for everyone at Math U See! We love MUS!

This was VERY informative! THANK YOU!

I hung in there ’til the end, and I’m glad I did. ;-) It was time well spent. You thoroughly covered everything!

I’m so excited about the new editions! ~What fabulous improvements!

We continue to LOVE Math-U-See! Thank you for all you are doing!

Quick Question about the new format for the honors book. I already own Algebra I and Geometry Teacher’s Guides in the old edition but now that the honors book are going to be included in the student books, is there going to be a way to get the answers to the Honors book seperately so that I don’t have to replace my teacher’s manuals.

      thanks

      Hello
I just wanted to share something funny that my daughter said.
I was listening to the video blog with Mr. Demme and my daughter walked in and saw the picture on the websight of Ethan and said, “Oh look, the teacher grew out his hair!”

I know if that could be done, you would be selling something in addition to Math Products!! :)

      Have a Great Day!

    9. 9 Darci Worth

I’ve checked and re-checked the lists but do not see Algebra 1 listed. When will Algebra 1 be changed?

      Thanks - Darci

    10. 10 ethan

      Re: Darci

Ooops just added the info. Algebra 1 will be released in the beginning of April as well.

      Re: Honors Answer Keys

We will be putting the answers to the honors books online.

    11. 11 Lori Sevedge

I am really excited about the changes and seeing the new materials. Thanks!

      ~Lori

    12. 12 Tiffany

I can not see the video either. Is there another way to view it?

    13. 13 Angela&4boys

These changes look wonderful! Both the teacher and student books look even more clear than before and I didn’t think that was possible. Our boys have thrived with MUS and we look forward to many years with your products. Thanks for your ministry to the homeschool community. Many blessings… Angela

    14. 14 Sherri

I have four children and I ordered math-u-see this year for the first time. I was hoping to reuse (hand-me downs) what my older kids are using for the younger ones. I planned on just buying the students consumable workbook and test booklet. Will the new student consumable books and tests(2009) work with what I had purchased in 2008–DVD and teacher/answer book. I have Gamma and Epsilon. If the new material will not work—what are my options? I need to keep my costs down with home schooling on only one income.

    15. 15 Lori C.

So . . . do this mean the new workbooks will match the old teacher books? The problems and solutions will be the same?

    16. 16 Nancy Blanchard

My question is similar to Sherri’s and I too have 4 children. My oldest is starting Zeta, and I have all the teacher books down to Primer, which I have been reusing with my younger children. I am unclear on this… Will the old teachers manuals work with the new student workbooks? OR, will I need to buy all new teacher manuals for the younger students? Also, how about the DVD’s - are they staying the same, or will they need to be replaced as well?

We appreciate MUS it has made life much easier in our home… thanks for a great program.

    17. 17 Lori

Is there ANY chance that Alg 2 will be ready by fall? We will be placing our order for the other levels, but I am willing to hold off ordering Alg 2 if there is any chance that the new teacher’s manual will be available in the fall. The upper levels are where we most need the improved solutions.

    18. 18 Celia

We are ready for new material, moving on from Alpa and Beta. When can I order and recieve the new edition? We love Math-u-see and are overjoyed that you are becoming more in the homeschool world.

    19. 19 Dawn Heyn

Could you please clarify the release date of Calculus and what exactly is being released? Will the “comb-bound” Calculus be the same material as the Calculus to be released in 2010, just a different binding?

    20. 20 jenney

Ohhh, we’re so bummed. My oldest will need Algebra 2 in the fall and I don’t really want to wait until 2010 so I guess we’ll go ahead and buy the old one. :( I have six more kids after her, so I’ll probably buy the new one later, but it would be great to just get the new one now! OTOH, she’ll be THRILLED to have another year of doodling space on the backs of the workbook pages!

All in all, I’m totally excited to see the improvements. We can’t wait!

      ~jenney

    21. 21 Carrie

Will it be possible to purchase 2009 Instruction Books without the DVD? In future years, I might prefer to update my IBs, especially for Pre-Algebra and Algebra so that I have complete, step-by-step solutions. Thanks!

    22. 22 D Barth

For years we have used Math u See ( starting in 1996) I am so glad to see I will not have to take the student books to the printer to be 3 hole punched and placed in a binder. The $5.00 extra will save us Money. Thanks D.Barth

    23. 23 Shelly

Thank you, THANK YOU for making the new student books compatible with the old teacher’s manuals! I was concerned that I would have to hurry up and buy the student books for our younger one for the grades she hasn’t come to yet, which we couldn’t afford right now. Great thinking! Hubby is going back to school at 40. He’s great at math, but we think you should write for the universities, too. :-)

Again, thank you. We love Math-U-See!

    24. 24 Leslie

I was just finding with my youngest daugther that she needed to be doing the work along side the problem she was working on rather than on another sheet. The change to 2 sided problem pages will be a real help there! The changes look terrific. I am only sorry that Algebra II will not be ready for this year as my son will be starting then. My daughters found they often needed full solutions for Algebra II.

    25. 25 J Oliver

Jenney, get the NEW Geometry first. That way you can wait till 2010 to do Algebra 2. My son was so happy when we brought him home this year to be able to do Geometry then Algebra 2. In ps last year, he took (and failed) Algebra 2. He complained the entire time he was taking it “All the problems say ‘remember in Geometry’ but I haven’t TAKEN Geometry yet!” It was a miserable math year for him, but this year, he took Geometry 1st (MUS) and is now re-taking Algebra 2 (MUS) and understanding what is required of him. Just an idea from one mom to another.

    26. 26 Liz N.

I want to make sure I understand fully. The DVDs are *not* changing, correct? Can I use the DVDs I currently own with the new editions of the student workbooks? Thanks!

    27. 27 Wendy

When I began watching the video explanation of all the new features of the program, I was dreading the bottom line. One of my favorite features of mus is that it’s so cost effective. I was more delighted to hear that for all the changes, the price only increases $5 per book…thank you, thank you!
(son entering Beta, 3 more kids Preschool and under who will use mus eventually)!

    28. 28 Kerri

      HELP!
I just got on the site to assist my daughter in math drills and discovered that you have new books.
I just purchased Algebra 1 at our local Curric. fair and no one in your booth told me that you were going to have a new addition!
I would like to exchange it all for the updated version…how do I go about doing that?
      Thanks.

    29. 29 Christie Jarvis

The new books look GREAT! I already have the teacher supplies that I need for next year but I look forward to being able to get the new student books. Thanks for continuing to work hard to make math fun to teach and learn!

    30. 30 Angie Smith

Thank you for sending the demo cd. My daughter (age 7) and I went through it together and decided that MUS was for her. She attended a cyber charter school for three years in PA and we have decided to move onto a tradition homeschool model for her education. I was not happy with the math program we were using. I feel the way MUS presents math with related bits of information seems to make more sense.

Children are more observement than we realize. DD seemed ofended we had to cover the metric system again in math when it was presented in the begining of the year in science. She whinned that she already knew the material….and she did!

We are sctually looking forward to math for the first time in two years!!!

      Thank you,

      Angie Smith

    31. 31 katie

I am SO excited about the new 2009 editions! I love the fact that the Honors books are now integrated into the student text. I have to wait until the middle of next school year, though, to get to use those fancy new books!! I JUST now decided to come back to MUS instead of using –xon, mainly because of the new Calculus level. Yay! We used the old Foundations and Intermediate—and then I experienced some sort of brain damage and switched to other programs for the next few years that did nothing but cause tears and math “hating”!!! In fact—the skip counting and tricks to remember quick addition with 9’s and thinking of the “teen” numbers as 2-t-4 has really made MY life easier as an adult—as basic math was my weakest point until I taught my kids using MUS………:)

    32. 32 Dawn

I got to look at the new books this last weekend at our group’s homeschool conference!! VERY Exciting! I spent quite a while talking with the reps too. I really want to get the new books, but we have some to get through first. That’s okay, we love Math U See, so much that we’ve stuck around ever since the Classic editions, and have had 5 kids through it so far. Thanks guys! The changes are fantastic. Just what we needed!

    33. 33 alamama

I was wondering if MUS goes towards high school credits?

I sure hope so, as we LOVE MUS and would hate to have to give it up.

      Thank you.

    34. 34 Reina Shelby

Thank you for the new edition!! It looks great in the video and I can’t wait to see it in person! Our oldest is left handed and he had struggled with the comb binding, so he’ll really enjoy the new version too. As an ex-math teacher with training background in Astrophysics, I have always loved math, but when it came to looking for a material for my own children, I couldn’t find one that seemed satisfactory. I LOVE Math-U-See and so do my kids! Thank you for all your hard work and for your love of math!

    35. 35 Carolyn Pecharka

can’t view the video and I cant get a different version either…is there somewhere I can get info on the new version? i have alot of the old versions and am not sure if I can mix with them. I need new student books, but not sure which ones to get. How is the new program different? Thanks

    36. 36 Carolyn Pecharka

I was looking for written info…i can’t find anything but the video..and I cant open it…

    37. 37 Melanie

I am very pleased with the changes and bummed out that I will need to wait for Algebra II, so we will do something else this year like Stewardship.

Thanks for keeping it cost effective and user friendly!

    38. 38 Tonja

I am so excited abouth the new editions. I just ordered Gamma and Beta for my daughters. They do so well with MUS. They have struggled with math and MUS is the best for their help :) I can’t wait for them to arrive…

    39. 39 Mindy

I’ve looked at the sample lesson from the epsilon book. It appears that the teacher book now has the student text pages included. Is that right? I currently use the MUS series (Pre-Alg and up) in a small group setting and would love to know that my teacher edition would include the pages my students are working on. It will make it that much easier to answer their questions. The improvements look great! I will likely buy the new teachers editions, even though my old ones will continue to work. Thanks for all you do for the homeschooling community.

    40. 40 Lynn Hatchett

You have a great product! And I am so excited that you are adding a Calculus curriculum in the Fall. Do you know when it will be available to purchase?

    41. 41 ethan

      Re: Mindy
The Instruction books don’t have the student text included. The student text and the instruction texts are still separate.

    42. 42 Denise Fisher

I was reading blog questions but don’t know how to get answers.I only see a few of your responses but thought if I could figure out how to get their answers I wouldn’t need to ask the same questions.

One of my questions is-Has the Algebra 1 been updated? A friend of ours had problems with it in the past –I think because the solution work was not included with the answers. Also, will the Pre-Algebra count as High School credit if she is going into high school but did not test out of it?

    43. 43 Angela Glidewell

I am unable to watch the video. I live on a campus and You Tube is blocked. Is there another way to watch the video?

    44. 44 Heather

Thank you so much for keeping the student books compatible! Like many other MUS families, we have several children and are on a tight home schooling budget. One of the great things about MUS is that we can simply order a workbook to keep costs down.

    45. 45 ethan

for those of you who are having trouble viewing the video we will be posting a transcript soon.

      Re: Denise

Yes Algebra 1 has been updated with complete solutions and more examples.

    46. 46 ethan

      the transcript has been posted

    47. 47 Christy B.

Thank you for the informative video. You covered everything. You answered all my questions as soon as they popped up! We are starting our 4th child on Math-U-see, and appreciate all the work that goes into your program. Ironically, I’m here to purchase Alpha for my daughter, which is still comb-bound, but oh well! Ha ha!

May God bless your work and ministry.

    48. 48 amanda c.

i think i know how to get to the video. does anyone know how to use the drill thing.

    49. 49 Christina P.

I’ve seen this question before but haven’t seen an answer. If we already own the previous versions will the old DVD work with the new 2009 edition Student Text? I have Primer, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon Teacher Manuals and DVD - do I need to repurchase these materials for my children who are entering this level? (We have 7 children - in case you were wondering why we have so many levels!!).

    50. 50 suzy

I am considering the mathusee program for my son who is severely dyslexic. Although the training he’s received at the Dyslexia Clinic has done wonders for him, he continues to have much trouble learning his multiplication facts. He has been diagnosed at the clinic as beeing a visual and auditory learner. Can anyone tell me if this program will help him? I’ve tried most everything there is out there.
      Thanks !! Suzy M.

    51. 51 ethan

      Re: Christina P.
Previous editions of the Greek letter series (alpha beta…) are compatible with the new edition. So you won’t have to repurchase your materials.

      Re: Suzy
Other parents have use Math-U-See with their dyslexic students with good results.

I would also like a reply to the question Carrie asked: Will it be possible to purchase 2009 Instruction Books without the DVDs? I would like to purchase the new IBs for Pre-Algebra and Algebra to have step-by-step solutions but I already have the DVDs.

Please send info on when Calculus will be ready. Needed right away!!!

    54. 54 Tina

Does the new edition have step by step solutions in Pre-Algebra? Are they necessary to teach the program or can most people implement the program without them?

    55. 55 Susan Bliss

Do I need the fraction overlays & the decimal inserts for Pre Algebra? I sold my fraction overlays years ago & I don’t have decimal inserts. I do have the blocks though. Just need to know before I purchase the student text, someone loaned me their DVD & teachers’ edition for Pre-Algebra. Thanks, Susan

      re: Michelle
Our Instruction packs are sold as a package, however you can purchase an Algebra 1 supplement that has the step by step solutions.

      re: Calculus
Our plan is to have a version available in the fall so watch the blog for information on that.

      re: Tina
The new editions do have step by step solutions in Pre-Algebra but the older versions will still work fine and do contain the solutions just not step by step solutions.

The step by step solutions can be a helpful aid to learning but are not necessary.

      re: Susan

You will just need the Algebra Decimal Inserts and a Starter set of blocks for Pre-Algebra.

      Hi,

Where does one find the Solutions Supplements? And what is the price?

I haven’t found them on the website although they have been mentioned in the video explanation of the new editions. Also will there be a Solutions Supplement for Pre-Algebra?

      Thanks,
      Mendy

Hi! Didn’t you have the solutions posted for Algebra 1? I can’t find them and I thought you had a link on the download page.

One of my reasons for staying with MUS for the next levels is that there will be solutions to all the problems. Sometimes it has been really frustrating to not be able to see how you got the answer that was given. So thanks for all the updates!

Also, can we purchase things individually, such as the teachers manual with solutions without buying the dvd with it? I only saw kit prices on the order forms. I want to use as much of the old version without having to replace everything. Thanks!

We have enjoyed MUS as our primary math curriculum for years and will continue to do so. Can you tell me what order the anticipated 2010 updates will be out? My son was ready to start Algebra 2 but we want to wait until the updated answer manual comes out. We are going to order Stewardship in the meantime. If you can give us an estimated timeline for Algebra 2 to be out, it would extremely helpful. Thank you and God bless.

I have the Algebra 1 comb-bound edition, but understood (perhaps erroneously) that the the new Solutions guide I recently purchased would work with the old edition. It seems some of the problems in the lessons may be the same, but we are on Lesson Practice 25A and the problems in the Solutions manual are not the same as those in the comb-bound student text.

My husband is the math expert in our home and he travels all week. I really need the solutions to the remaining lessons in our present book, from Lesson Practice 25A on to the end of the book. Can you help?

      re: Elizabeth

the updated Algebra 2 will be released in Jan 2010

      re: Debbie

We did a minor edit to the Alg1 comb bound a little while ago and split lesson 7 into two parts which threw off the order of the remaining lessons. So try the solutions to the following lesson and it should match up. For updated lessons 7 and 8 follow these links.

Approximately how many lessons are there in the Gamma and Epsilon curriculum? 160? 170? I am tentatively trying to plan out our school year. Thank you!

      re: Deborah

There are 30 lessons in each, you can find out more by visiting the gamma and epsilon pages, they have sample lessons as well as the full scope and sequence.

Just wanting to make sure that we are still on target to have the new Algebra II available to us in January of 2010. Can’t wait to get started on it.

    65. 65 Shawna Williamson

When will the updated versions of Primer and Alpha be available? January 2010?… or later in the year? I’m planning on purchasing both but thought I’d wait for the new versions unless it will be too long a wait. Thank you.

      Re: Shawna

You mentioned an Algebra I supplement that had all the step by step solutions, Is that a seperate book that I can order or is that the teachers manual kit? I’m not seeing an “Algebra I supplement” book to order. Thanks!

I came online today to purchase Primer Materials, but think I will go ahead and wait the two months to get the new edition. Can we pre-order the new edition?
