I am switching to Math-U-See and am a bit confused about the grade levels. Could you help me out? Is primer first grade and alpha second or is primer kindergarten and alpha first?

Hi Paula,
Math-U-See isn’t a grade level approach to math, instead it is based on mastery. Primer focuses on introducing math and having fun. Alpha focuses on single digit Addition and subtraction. The key is to move at your child’s pace through each book and make sure they have mastered each lesson before moving on.

My main question was how do you tell what level they are on? But I looked it up on their site…hopefully I picked the right one for my daughter who is in Second Grade.
