Ask Steve - Episode 12

Steve answers this question from our forum.

I have three questions. One would be, how much should I be requiring of him now as he heads into the Jr. High years? I have down 30 minutes a day for math. We watch the video together if it is a new lesson and I go over the new material to make sure he understands it. He is doing well. Often times he will show no problems with the new materials and we will skip B and C and go straight to the cumlative pages.

We saw Math Blocks and we saw how the Penguins like Math U See blocks. Penguins make math more fun too.

Math-U-See Robot

I saw this great picture over at the “Land of Boys” blog, enjoy.

Can you tell we have too much fun around here? School in pajamas, building robots out of math blocks? Samuel built this by himself after he finished his math one day.

One person even commented and said, “That looks like 802 times the fun”:-)
