My kids tend to “play” with the blocks, and not listen to the video. (ages 9 and 14)

    So you have any suggestions?

This helped me a lot! My son is in Gamma and really struggling with 2-digit multiplication. I feel like I’ve tried everything, and he still doesn’t get it. I’m going to try this starting tomorrow!

That was helpful. I will give it a try next lesson!

    Hello,

I realy need some more test practice for my son in Geometry. He is good with the worksheet, but when it comes to testing, he fails. What should I do?

Hi Ethan, could you please send me the colored blocks Word file that Theresa sent you for the making the math blocks clock? Thanks so much!

Dolly, As for needing more practice testing:
We have our kids take their tests on their own paper. Then if they don’t score at least a 90% we have them retake the test. We tell them how many mistakes but not what the individual mistakes were.
We set that standard to motivate them to focus more and not make careless mistakes. Rarely have we had to reteach something they didn’t understand.
This also has the added benefit of having the workbooks for our next 3 children to use.

My daughters (9, 12) can not focus on math. They do all their other schoolwork, but despise math, even going so far as to make petitions (yes, you read that right) against math. PLease help me!
